Pierre Paillard Les Parcelles XIX NV Bouzy Grand Cru

On the label, XIX refers to the 2019 vintage, on which this wine is based, with fruit coming from plots in Bouzy Grand Cru. The blend is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and this has spent two-and-a-half years on the lees, delivering a bold, rich, powerful wine with a notably dry palate thanks to zero dosage. Expect cherries, honeycomb and toast with a refreshing savoury nutty character. Superb stuff.
