Delivery

UK Delivery

We offer free delivery via Royal Mail/Parcelforce for orders over £140 to UK mainland postcodes, excluding the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. We are unable to ship items outside the UK, including to Ireland.

For UK mainland orders under £140 a delivery charge of £15 will apply. For Highland and Islands, delivery will be calculated at checkout as charges vary. Due to ongoing uncertainty over the status of alcohol shipments from mainland UK to Northern Ireland, these orders will be subject to approval at the point of sale.

If your order is received through our website before midday we will aim to deliver within three working days, although at busy periods, such as Christmas, deliveries may take longer. 

We use a variety of transit packaging to protect delicate glass bottles, but all our packaging is 100% recyclable.

Local Delivery

If you're within a mile or two of your local store, we offer free local delivery on orders over £140. 

  • For larger orders - over 12 bottles - we can book you in for a delivery on our van. 
  • For orders of 12 bottles or under we work with local bike couriers to get you wines quickly, and with zero emissions.

Special Delivery

Timed and Saturday delivery is available for an additional charge. Please email Salesto arrange this.

Deliveroo

We work with Deliveroo to provide a limited selection of our wines, beers and spirits through their app. Please search for Theatre of Wine on the app to access the Deliveroo pricing and range available in your area, which includes chilled white, sparkling and rose wine. 



Conditions of Carriage


Delivery Address

Please ensure delivery details provided to us are correct and complete. Theatre of Wine Ltd. will pass on any incurred costs for a returned or redespatched parcel due to incorrect or incomplete delivery details. Where a timed delivery has been specified and there is nobody to receive the delivery in the time window specified, redelivery will be charged at the rate of the initial timed delivery. 

Our courier's policy is to attempt delivery twice. If they are unable to deliver at the first attempt they will leave a card giving the consignment number and branch telephone number. They will then attempt delivery the following day. If this fails you will have to collect the parcel from the depot. Their delivery times are usually between 7am and 9pm.

Signatures

It is the standard policy of our courier that all parcels are signed for on delivery. In the event that a parcel is not signed for Theatre of Wine Ltd. will not be liable for loss or damage to the parcel.

Damaged Parcels

Goods must be checked on delivery and any damage should be recorded by the courier. Damage must be reported to us directly at Saleswithin 24 hours of receiving the order. Damage not reported in this period will be excluded from any subsequent compensation.

Where goods have been damaged in transit, we will either provide a full refund or arrange for a replacement to be sent to you, available stock permitting.  Refunds will be made within 5 working days.

Late or Missing Orders

From time to time, delays may occur that are beyond our control, particularly around the Christmas period. Please allow an additional 24 hours beyond your delivery estimate before contacting us if a parcel has not been received.

Theatre of Wine Ltd. cannot be held responsible for late delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control.
