Placing an order
All goods are offered subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee the availability of specific vintages. We reserve the right to change price and availability information at any time without notice. The placing of an order through our website is an offer to buy from us and does not constitute a contract. A contract is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
By placing an order you confirm that you are capable of entering into legally binding contracts and you are at least 18 years old. We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18, and we reserve the right not to deliver if we are unsure of this.
We reserve the right not to accept any order or part thereof.
Although we endeavour to ensure that all information on this website is up to date and accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be misdescribed. If we discover a pricing error we will contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
Images used to represent products are intended for illustration purposes only, and are not necessarily true representations of the actual goods themselves.
In the event that a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we shall contact you to arrange replacement, or another acceptable arrangement for the completion of your order.
Unless stated otherwise, all prices include applicable UK duty and VAT.
All goods remain the property of Theatre of Wine Limited until payment is received in full.
Payment
Orders placed through this website require card payment and delivery to the cardholder's registered address. Orders placed by contacting our shops directly may be paid by cash, credit card or bank transfer.
For your security, card details should never be sent to us by email and we will never request card details in this manner.
For high value orders, and for orders to be delivered to any address other than the customer's registered address, we reserve the right to ask for payment by bank transfer in advance, with the goods released only once monies have been received.
Right to Cancel
If you change your mind about your order, contact us within fourteen days of receipt of goods and we will arrange to collect the unwanted goods and reimburse the appropriate sum paid, provided the goods are returned as sold in the original packaging.
Returns
We will provide a full refund or replacement for any goods that are faulty.
We may require faulty items to be returned to us for inspection so please retain them in the first instance. We will arrange this as necessary at your convenience.
Tasting events
In the event of cancellation of a tasting event on our part, we shall offer a full refund. In the event that you are unable to attend a tasting event, we need immediate notification. A full refund will only be given if we are notified at least 48 hours in advance.
Crime prevention
For the purposes of the prevention or detection of offences, and/or the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, we may share any information that we collect with the Police, other public or private sector agencies or representative bodies in accordance with the relevant legislation. Information shared in this way will not be used for marketing purposes.
