Bucci Verdicchio Classico 2021 Marche
The Bucci estate has been making wine for longer than Italy has existed. Founded in the 1700s, they are now undeniably one of the leading exponents of verdicchio, Italy's most underrated white variety. Added together, you have a wine of crystalline purity, with yellow apple, dill and chives on the nose and a savoury note of laurel leaf on the palate. Is there anything better with roast fish on the bone? We doubt it.
