Terraquilia Malbone Malbo Gentile dell Emilia IGP 2020 ORG Italy

One of the rare local varieties of Emilia Romagna, Malbo Gentile, is usually a blending partner for Lambrusco but here shows its full potential. Medium bodied and nicely structured, it balances black cherry fruit against dried herbs and peppery spice. Pleasingly rustic, it is an ideal accompaniment to Italian country cooking.
