Lively, with wonderful acidity, this comes on with bright citrus flavours, but its long bottle ageing on lees gives it more body, a rich sapid finish and a slightly bitter hint of artichoke that makes it very foody, moreish and digestible. Salty on the finish, the deep flavour, recalling preserved lemon, is relieved by the racy freshness. Perfect picnic wine and great for lemony dishes like chicken tagine.
