Herbert Hall Brut Rose 2019 Kent England
On a sunny site in Kent, Nicholas Hall carries on the farming legacy established by his great-grandfather, Herbert Hall. Using organic practices, together with the principal Champagne grapes of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, Nicholas and Kirsty Smith make exceptional sparkling wines. Just ask the King, whose Highgrove brand has its own cuvee.
A very limited production of some 2,500 bottles, this rose focuses firmly on providing a bright, fruit-driven yet coolly restrained wine. Expect fresh strawberry, white peach, and a seamless, dry palate with a delicate note of rhubarb.
