Chateau Capbern 2017 St Estephe

Formerly known at Capbern Gasqueton, this has simply been called Capbern since the 2013 vintage. This is medium weight, pleasingly peppery, with some of the carbon and smoky earthiness that St Estephe is known for alongside ripe but fresh black fruit and gentle notes of Spanish cedar and Cuban tobacco. An absolute joy to drink now and over the next five years, this is quintessential claret and a real staff favourite.
