Is it a red or is it a rose? Clarete is a style that breaks the boundaries, showing backs of juicy fruit and fine acidity but with more richness and savour than most roses. Raspberry and rosehip mix with something sappy to make for a very food friendly, convivial wine. Great with meaty fish stews like cataplana.
