Vignoble de la Jarnoterie Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil Cuvee Concerto 2021

Wonderfully structured and persistent, this cuvee comes from a small plot of 80-year-old vines on sandy limestone soil. Aged traditionally in large chestnut barrels, there is real power and depth here but with nothing obscuring the violet and grafite signature of Cabernet Franc. It will age beautifully but is hard not to drink now, especially with roast pork.
