Antoniolo Gattinara Riserva San Francesco 2018 Piedmont

A west-facing slope behind the castello of Gattinara, this is a cooler site than Osso San Grato, producing consumately elegant, refined wines. Comprising 3.5 hectares on volcanic soils, this wine is also aged in Slavonian botti grande for three years before another year of ageing in bottle.
