Vivid, tangy and lively, Pittnauer's Sankt Laurent may be a little raw and unpolished, but what it lacks in politeness it makes up for in energy. Herby and full of sweet sour, orangey suggestions of red vermouth. Dangerously drinkable and great fun, this is a wine of pure conviviality and would be great for a barbecue.
