Deep in Herault, 50km from the Mediterranean the arid slopes of St Chinian produce typically rugged wines full of Southern warmth. This blend of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre carries the dark fruit and garrigue herb signature of the place, but with refined tannins and a heady liqueur cherry note. Great with hearty fare and slow cooked meat.
