Monemvasia Winery Tsimbidi Voltes Red 2023 Peloponnese

This is a blend of two native Greek varieties, Agiorgitiko and Mavroudi, which are comfortably at home in the far south-eastern corner of the Peloponnese peninsula, known as Laconia. At first you might feel this wine is your classic easy drinking quaffing wine, but there is much more to this little red than meets the eye. There is a silky richness, with flavours of savoury herbs and dried cassis. Making this a pretty good drop for the modest price tag.
