Leopards Leap Culinaria Chenin Blanc 2023 Western Cape
This lush example of chenin is made from grapes grown on old dryland bush vines in Stellenbosch and Paarl. It is an old school, creamy and smoky chenin blanc, fermented in small french oak barrels and aged on the lees. There are notes of orchard fruits like red apples and white pears sitting nicely alongside preserved lemons and smoky bacon crisps. Pair this with some spicy noodles and pork belly for a sensory overload!
