Sensational value from this pioneering winery, high up in the Gredos mountains of Castille, right in the centre of Spain. Albillo Real is an old local variety, native to these mountains and gives wines reminiscent of the Northern Rhone. Broad but taut, this is a powerful, muscular white wine, with wonderful energy and a salty edge that tempers sweet notes of nectarine and acacia honey. Fabulous with shellfish.
