Feudo Montoni Rose di Adele 2022 Sicily

A ravishingly pale colour doesn't prepare you for the explosion of Mediterranean flavour in this exotic, aromatic nerello mascalese rosato, named Rose di Adele in memory of a rose garden dedicated to the winemaker's mother. Laurel, lovage and liquorice explode on the complex, pulsating nose, which, fittingly enough, shows hints of roses, before leading into a lithe, zesty palate with notes of chamomile, lemon verbena and celery salt. We're not in the Cote d'Azur any more, Dorothy.
