Akashi Tai Honjozo Genshu Tokubetsu Sake 300ml Japan
The Akashi Tai Sake Brewery, named after sea bream caught near Akashi in south-west Japan, was founded in 1917. Every style of Sake they produce is hand-crafted in small-batches, using rice grown in the local Hyogo province.
The Tokubetsu Honjozo Genshu features rice polished to 60% of the grain remaining. It offers a fuller body, and pink grapefruit, beeswax and white floral undernotes on the nose. This is joined by a creamy, rich palate with tropical fruit flavours, balanced by a subtle umami note.
This sake can be enjoyed on the rocks or in cocktail making, and can be heated up to 45C if you prefer your sake warm.
