Ktima Foundi is the arch-traditionalist of Naoussa, making uncompromising, long ageing, classic wines that amply reward the patient fine wine lover, for these are truly fine wines by any standard. Kept in the cellar until ready for release, this shows the nobility of Xinomavro at its very best with fleeting perfumed notes of incense and dried roses, fine, sandy tannins and a rich, earthy sweet finish, that would not feel out of place in a great Barolo.
