Villa Tinta Odessa Black 2019 Ukraine

A brilliant discovery from a recent tasting of Ukrainian wines, this rich, spicy red offers lots of gutsy, old school satisfaction. Odesa Black is a crossing of Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet and here it delivers plenty of cassis, bell pepper and damson. Creamy and full of sweet spices with fine tannins, this is a carnivore's wine and cries out for meat from the grill.
