Rene Rostaing Condrieu La Bonnette 2018 Rhone

Rostaing's tiny quantities of luminous Condrieu are a little known treasure and show all the same lightness of touch and refinement as his benchmark Cote Roties. Fine apricot fruit is tempered by fleeting floral scents of jasmine and almond blossom and a gingery, spicy lift that shows remarkable restraint and balance. With shellfish or Asian flavours this is simply sublime.
