Airen grapes are distilled and aged in oloroso and amontillado barrels that have previous held these deliciously nutty sherries to produce a spirit that the King of Spain has personally delivered to him by the bodega. This is smooth and almost buttery, with a fudgey richness and notes of cognac-soaked orange zest and sultana.
