Isle of Raasay Signature Single Malt 46.4% Scotland

The signature Isle of Raasay single malt, this is an exemplary whisky from this exciting distillery, funded in 2017. Lightly peated and unpeated malts are matured separately in first fill rye whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. The flavour is lightly peated and balanced with rich dark fruits, fresh turf, woodsmoke and a wonderful fudge, in addition to some delicate, dried cranberries and strawberries from the wine casks. This is all natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with bottling at 46% ABV.
