False Bay Syrah 2022/2023 Western Cape

Named after South Africa's iconic bay, the False Bay wines prove that characterful wines made with care do not have to be expensive. All the wines are made fermented with wild yeasts, from coastal old vines and additions such as acidification are avoided. If you want a lot of syrah for very little money then this is the wine for you. Ripe, smoky mulberry fruit with a kiss of oak, and some classic syrah aromatics of black pepper and pancetta. Outrageously good value.
