Into the woods, this wine, from vineyards sheltered by the Carpathians in the South of Romania, carries a sense of something slightly wild, with masses of black fruit, cherry and damson, as well as a seam of warm spicy pepper and clove. Hearty, and eminently drinkable, it would be ideal with Goulash or any slow cooked, warming stew.
