Long established in the village of Rochepot in the Haute Cotes de Beaune West of Puligny, the Fouquerand family now farms 18 ha of vines here and in neighbouring Santenay and Pommard.  Laurent Fouquerand took over the running of the estate from his father, Denis, in 2008 and moved to organic viticulture, certified in 2013.  Careful work in the vineyard is matched by meticulous care in the cellar, to obtain wines of purity and finesse, including a very fine Aligoté.
