Taylor's Vintage Port 2003 Douro

The Taylor's style is sometimes called the Chateau Latour of the Douro, as it is dense, powerful, profound and slow to evolve. The warm 2003 vintage has produced a wine of immense richness and weight that will certainly benefit from a 2-3 hour decant and will likely be even better on day two after opening. Expect oodles of currants, cloves, plums, tar, liquorice and black Assam tea with plenty of warmth and spice.
